The Brazilian Solidarity Institute continues with its solidarity rally in parallel to the Sertões (click here to get to know the Project). Webventure spoke to the Managing Partner of the Institute, Luis Eduardo Salvatore, who is with the caravan that follows the rally from city to city, in order to find out what the have already managed to do in each location up to today.
Pirenópolis (GO)
"The experience in Pirenópolis was very positive", Luis told us. He met up again with teachers who had already received the Institute in 2002. Luis also highlighted the support given by the local Municipal Government. “the presence of the governmental power is important, as it adds value to our work. With the government’s help, the project reaches places that wouldn’t be possible to reach only with the companies”.
